Blue Ant and Mondo worked with YouTube to launch <em>Bite On Mondo<\/em> last fall, an initiative to discover, foster and produce animated content is made possible in part by the Canadian Media Fund. The program has received more than 500 pitch submissions since then, with the next deadline scheduled for November 15.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTo date, the program has developed 25 original animated pilots, including <em>World Doctors<\/em> and <em>Don&rsquo;t Feed the Humans<\/em>. Blue Ant will be representing <em>Bite On Mondo<\/em> content at MIPCOM for international distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;There has been a great response to the <em>Bite On Mondo<\/em> program from the creative community and fans of animation content,&rdquo; said Raja Khanna, the CEO of television and digital for Blue Ant Media. &ldquo;<em>TELETOON<\/em><em> at Night<\/em> is the perfect home for this programming in the Canadian market.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;We love the ability to tap into emerging talent and develop content that can be tested through fans of animated comedy,&rdquo; said Jocelyn Hamilton, the VP of programming and original productions for Corus Kids. &ldquo;The <em>Bite On Mondo<\/em> project gives us a real opportunity to create popular content for our audiences.&rdquo;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TORONTO, October 11: Blue Ant Media and Mondo Media have teamed up with Corus Entertainment to air a new prime-time animated comedy series, a compilation of shorts from the Bite On Mondo digital program.
