Continuing to expand on its collection of U.S. drama fare, the network picked up the James Spader vehicle <em>The Blacklist<\/em>, along with the police drama <em>Ironside<\/em>, which stars Blair Underwood. Global has given <em>Dracula<\/em>, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, a Friday night slot. Also coming to the network is the fantasy-thriller <em>Sleepy Hollow<\/em>, which joins the Monday night roster, paired with the J.J. Abrams sci-fi adventure <em>Almost Human<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Among the comedies that Global slated for the 2013-14 season are three series with big-name leads: <em>The Michael J. Fox Show<\/em>, starring the eponymous actor who returns to the small screen; <em>The <\/em><em>Miller<\/em>s, led by Will Arnett and featuring Beau Bridges; and <em>Sean Saves the Wo<\/em><em>rld<\/em>, which stars Sean Hayes. Global also went for the comedies <em>Welcome to the Family <\/em>and <em>We Are Men<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Global&#8217;s lineup also includes some Canadian originals, in the way of the docuseries <em>Obsessions<\/em>, which investigates the unusual obsessions people can develop. There&#8217;s also <em>Walk the Walk<\/em>, a six-part series that spotlights the relationship between heroes who inspire Canada&#8217;s Walk of Fame recipients and the impact that they have had on these heroes. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The network&#8217;s daytime lineup includes Queen Latifah fronting a new talk show in <em>The Queen Latifah <\/em><em>Show<\/em>. Global is bringing back <em>Entertainment Tonight<\/em>, <em>Entertainment Tonight Canada<\/em>, <em>The Good Wife<\/em>, <em>Parenthood<\/em>, <em>Crime Time<\/em>, <em>Bob&#8217;s Burgers <\/em>and <em>American Dad<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Midseason, Global has taken on the new dramas <em>Chicago PD<\/em>, <em>Crossbones<\/em>, <em>Rake <\/em>and <em>Reckless<\/em>. It has also scheduled a new Canadian original medical drama, <em>Remedy<\/em>, alongside the highly anticipated limited series <em>24: Live Another Day<\/em>. Comedies making their way to Global midseason are <em>About a Boy <\/em>and the Canadian original <em>Working the Engels<\/em>.
