M&eacute;th&eacute; will serve as president, with the venture to be governed by a board of directors encompassing executives from both Cirque du Soleil and Bell Media. The news of the deal&#8217;s closing comes ahead of the December 21 CTV&nbsp;premiere of the 3D feature <em>Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away<\/em>, written and directed by Andrew Adamson and executive produced by James Cameron.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;Cirque du Soleil and Bell Media together can deliver more incredible content to more consumers than ever before,&rdquo; said Kevin Crull, the president of Bell Media. &ldquo;We&rsquo;ve got so many ideas just waiting to be brought to life.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;With Cirque du Soleil Media, we are defining a new type of creative platform for Cirque du Soleil combined with the expertise and commitment of Bell Media,&rdquo; said Daniel Lamarre, the president and CEO of Cirque du Soleil.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MONTREAL: The deal between Bell Media and Cirque du Soleil for a joint venture to create content for multiple platforms has closed, with the new entity to be led by Jacques M&eacute;th&eacute;.
