But as the industry continued to evolve, so did Tricon, keeping pace with the current trends and diversifying its business to answer buyers&rsquo; demands. The company began dabbling in the scripted space, scoring a hit with its sci-fi series <em>Sanctuary<\/em>, and has now put its efforts behind increasing its slate of kids&rsquo; content, which includes the talent show <em>The Next Star<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The Toronto-based producer and distributor has continued to build out its business.
