TORONTO: CTV has revealed its 2012-13 prime-time lineup, which features a comedy block on Tuesdays with Anger Management<\/em> and The New Normal<\/em>, while sister channel CTV Two has slated Nashville<\/em>, Arrow<\/em> and Emily Owens, M.D.<\/em>, among others. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CTV is pairing The Big Bang Theory<\/em> and Two and a Half Men<\/em> to air in simulcast on Thursdays. The final season of Flashpoint<\/em> is also set for the Thursday lineup, moving to a 10 p.m. slot. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Tuesday slot previously occupied by Flashpoint<\/em> will be taken over by Anger Management<\/em>, paired with The New Norma<\/em>l<\/em>. Criminal Minds <\/em>returns to the CTV schedule, from CTV Two, later in the Tuesday lineup. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CSI: New York <\/span><\/span><\/em>moves to 8 p.m. on Fridays in simulcast. Grimm<\/em> continues to air in simulcast at 9 p.m. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new series The Mob Doctor<\/em> will run on Sundays at 9 p.m., leading into The Amazing Race <\/em>and setting up The Mentalist<\/em> in its new 10 p.m. slot, in simulcast. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Premiering midseason are The Following<\/em>, Do No Harm<\/em>, Golden Boy<\/em> and The Family Tools<\/em>. CTV has also ordered a new original drama, Motive<\/em> (working title), for its midseason roster. Motive<\/em> is a procedural drama from Foundation Features and Lark Productions. The 13×1-hour series is about a feisty female homicide detective in Vancouver who matches wits with killers.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“With a distinctive voice and fresh take on the procedural drama, <\/span><\/span>Motive<\/em><\/span><\/span> is unlike anything on television,” said Phil King, the president of CTV programming and sports. “<\/span><\/span>Motive<\/em><\/span><\/span> is the first of several innovative projects joining Bell Media’s original production slate in 2012\/2013.”

\n“We are very excited by this opportunity for Foundation and Lark to work together with great writing talent and to add another original production to CTV’s winning schedule,” commented executive producers Rob Merilees and Louise Clark.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On CTV Two, The Voice<\/em> will run on Mondays and Tuesdays. The channel is also set to broadcast Nashville<\/em>, Arrow<\/em> and Emily Owens, M.D.<\/em> <\/span><\/span>
