TORONTO: Rogers Media-owned Citytv unveiled its 2012-2013 schedule to advertisers today, with seven comedies and four dramas—including Revolution<\/em> and Hannibal<\/em>—from the U.S. joining the slate.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

"Citytv’s prime-time schedule is the strongest—and most competitive—in network history with critically-acclaimed fan-favorites, proven winners from last season, and the most buzzed about new series with both big-name stars and fresh faces," said Scott Moore, the president of broadcast at Rogers Media. "Our schedule is better every day. With Citytv’s expanded footprint, we will be in 9 million homes this fall, reaching more viewers in more homes than ever before. And we’re not done yet. Our goal of delivering our world-class content to a national audience is firmly within our grasp."<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On the comedy front, returning to the network’s grid are New Girl<\/em>, 2 Broke Girls<\/em>, Suburgatory<\/em>, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23<\/em> and Last Man Standing<\/em>. Picked up for fall are Partners,<\/em> Ben and Kate<\/em>, The Mindy Project<\/em> and Malibu Country<\/em>.  For mid-season, the network has slated 1600 Penn<\/em>, The Goodwin Games<\/em> and H<\/em>ow to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)<\/em>. The network also gave the greenlight to the original comedies Package Deal, <\/em>from Thunderbird Films, and Seed<\/em> from Force Four Entertainment.

The network’s returning dramas are Revenge<\/em>, Person of Interest<\/em> and Scandal<\/em>. Joining those are Revolution<\/em>, 666 Park Avenue<\/em>, Hannibal<\/em> and The Carrie Diaries<\/em>. Citytv has also acquired Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> for its late-night slate.
