Amazon India is working with the country’s Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) on a range of initiatives to help foster the local creative economy.<\/p>\n
Prime Video and its free streaming app miniTV in India will provide internships and scholarships to students at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTII). In addition, classic content from the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), state broadcaster Doordarshan and the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be showcased on Prime Video and miniTV. Plus, masterclasses will be provided to students at a range of film and TV institutes and 75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow, an annual talent enrichment program under the umbrella of IFFI. In addition, the NFDC and IMDb will work together to help enable the discoverability of India\u2019s creative talent.<\/p>\n
