Overall, 30 countries and regions were represented.<\/p>\n<p>The Hong Kong Animation &amp; Digital Entertainment Pavilion saw more than 30 local companies offer animation, digital effects and interactive media to promote innovative technology development. EntertainmentPulse, FILMART\u2019s the concurrent conference, featured a dedicated session on Web3 in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere during the event, industry leaders discussed the prospects and potential of Asian content, the growing interest in dating and romance reality shows and Chinese donghua as soft power.<\/p>\n<p>The FILMART online portal will remain open through April 15, and users can revisit all of the content form EntertainmentPulse and use a direct messaging function.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis [was] my first time attending FILMART,\u201d said Jean Dong, founder and chairman of Zespa Media Group, which is based in London and Beijing. \u201cHKTDC helped line up over ten business matching meetings, which are all helpful in establishing business contacts and develop new opportunities. I\u2019m sure some would come to fruition with follow-ups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A representative of Hengdian Film &amp; Television Industry Experimental Zone, which has participated in FILMART for five consecutive years, said, \u201cThe film industry of Hong Kong is mature and with the advantage of international connections.
