The Asian Academy Creative Awards have revealed that Clement Schwebig, president of India, Southeast Asia and Korea for Warner Bros. Discovery, will serve as chair of the 2023 edition.<\/p>\n

Schwebig takes over the role from Saurabh Doshi, founder of Virtualness and former Meta executive, who completed his two-year term.<\/p>\n

Warner Bros. Discovery is a foundation patron of the Asian Academy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith deep knowledge of the local industry, the Academy will benefit from Clement\u2019s expertise as it outlines its 2023 Awards program,\u201d said Michael McKay, president of the Asian Academy Creative Awards. \u201cClement has a passion for the big picture and industry at large. We\u2019re excited to have him on board.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to convey my great appreciation for the vision Saurabh provided during his tenure, especially embracing digital, metaverse and the first-ever NFTs version of the trophy being given out to the winners in 2022,\u201d McKay added.<\/p>\n

Schwebig said, \u201cI\u2019ve always admired the work of the Asian Academy. From its Academy Campus training programs to its major regional ceremonies, it is pivotal in the development of the media and entertainment industry across Asia.
