Discovery, Viu and Mediacorp receiving the most nods.<\/p>\n<p>The companies chosen during the national round will enter December\u2019s Grand Awards and Gala Final competitions, of which the winners will be announced during an event on December 7 and 8, held in conjunction with the Asian Television Forum.<\/p>\n<p>Netflix will go into the competition with 22 national wins, plus a further three alongside production alliances. The Walt Disney Company scored 21 national wins, including nine for Nat Geo. For Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO and CNN wins were bundled and the newly merged company claimed 20 wins going into the Grand Awards and Gala Final. Viu notched up 15 national wins, with a further seven via production partners and three thanks to its Hong Kong-based free-to-air channel. Mediacorp, meanwhile, claimed 20 national wins in its own right, plus a further nine via production partners.<\/p>\n<p>Filipino broadcaster ABS-CBN scored 16 wins, including six for its drama series <em>The Broken Marriage Vow<\/em>. GMA dominated the factual categories.<\/p>\n<p>For Hong Kong (SAR), TVB claimed 15 wins. In Malaysia, Astro notched 12 wins in its own right and four via partnerships. iQIYI, SBS Australia and Formosa TV each took nine national wins, and GMMTV 7 scored seven for Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Japan combined for 23 national wins, led by NHK with six. Actor Masaki Suda will represent the nation due to his lead role in Fuji TV\u2019s <em>Don\u2019t Call It Mystery<\/em>, which scored best drama series.<\/p>\n<p>India will be represented across 32 categories in December. Its local judges have put forth Prime Video\u2019s rural crime series <em>Suzhal\u2014The Vortex<\/em> for best drama series and Kabir Khan\u2019s <em>\u201983<\/em> for best feature film.<\/p>\n<p>Best drama series has gone to Korea for the last two years.
