108 Media, which acquired DCD Rights at the end of last year, has picked up a majority stake in the Asian production outfit Revolution Media.<\/p>\n
Led by Zainir Aminullah, Revolution Media was founded as Ideate Media in 2013 and was rebranded in 2019 following a management buy-out. Its credits include Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency<\/em> and The Ghost Bride<\/em>, along with a raft of Asian theatrical films.<\/p>\n With the investment, 108 Media takes on Revolution Media\u2019s current slate and staff. It will invest in developing and acquiring additional premium scripted IP as well as expanding into factual for brand and ad-sales partnerships. 108 Media will function as the studio and financier as well as global sales outfit for the slate, including I Am Vash<\/em>, Inspector Singh<\/em> and The Undone Years<\/em>.<\/p>\n Aminullah, CEO of Revolution Media, noted, \u201cIt has always been our ambition to be a key international player, and although we\u2019ve had successes in the past, this new path with 108 Media will catapult our slate and realize our original vision.
