Nippon TV has inked its first-ever deal with Netflix to stream 30 titles in 24 Asian countries and territories.<\/p>\n
The first 15 titles included in the pact began streaming on Netflix in October. In December, an additional 15 titles will be added, including the 2019 drama series Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom<\/em>.<\/p>\n Among the titles already available on the platform are I\u2019m Mita, Your Housekeeper<\/em>, also a scripted format that has been licensed to Korea; Death Note<\/em>, based on the comic series of the same name; and Tokyo Tarareba Girls<\/em>, also adapted from a comic series.<\/p>\n In December, drama titles such as Your Turn to Kill<\/em> and Life’s Punchline<\/em>, broadcast this year on TVer, will stream. Several entertainment shows will also make their way to Netflix, including the adventure variety show The Quest<\/em> and the contest show Masquerade<\/em>, one of Nippon TV’s longest-running programs with over 40 years of history.<\/p>\n Keisuke Miyata, head of finished program sales, international business development, at Nippon TV, commented, \u201cWe are very pleased to announce that Netflix will be offering our content to its audience across Asia.
