Saurabh Doshi, the director of entertainment partners for Facebook in the Asia Pacific, has been tapped as chair of the 2021 edition of the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA).<\/p>\n

Doshi takes on the role from Ricky Ow, serving as an independent overseer at the organization and an advisor for this year’s Grand Awards and Gala Final.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019d like to extend my personal thanks to Mr. Ow for his marvelous support over these past three years and welcome Mr. Doshi as the new chairperson, especially as we explore new, exciting ways to present the 37 competition categories that make up this season,” said Michael McKay, AAA’s president.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m both honored and excited to chair this year\u2019s awards,” said Doshi. “Last year\u2019s virtual AAAs were groundbreaking. I loved the quick pivot to virtual and the various innovations, combining technology and state-of-the-art production.
