Netflix is expanding its lineup of Korean content, adding three films and four new shows to its slate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year marked an incredible milestone for Korean filmmakers with the triumph of director Bong Joon-ho\u2019s Parasite<\/em> winning the Oscars, positive reviews around the Netflix film Time to Hunt<\/em>, and the global popularity of #Alive<\/em> via Netflix across the world,” said Minyoung Kim, the VP of content for Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia at New Zealand at Netflix. “Netflix is at the forefront of changing the way entertainment is enjoyed throughout the world. We believe that great stories can come from anywhere and travel everywhere. We\u2019re bringing Korean storytelling with the goal to entertain our members around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netflix is set to roll out The Call<\/em>, a mystery thriller, on November 27; the sci-fi film Space Sweepers<\/em> in Q1, 2021; and What Happened to Mr. Cha?<\/em>, a comedy, on January 1, 2021.<\/p>\n

The series joining the Netflix K-content lineup include Sweet Home<\/em> and The Uncanny Counter<\/em>, both adapted from webtoons, and the romantic dramas Run On<\/em> and Lovestruck in the City<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
