{"id":5041,"date":"2018-10-04T11:37:45","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T15:37:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/zee-gears-mipcom-life-earth-space\/"},"modified":"2018-10-04T11:37:45","modified_gmt":"2018-10-04T15:37:45","slug":"zee-gears-up-for-mipcom-with-life-of-earth-from-space","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/zee-gears-up-for-mipcom-with-life-of-earth-from-space\/","title":{"rendered":"Zee Gears Up for MIPCOM with Life of Earth from Space"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zee Entertainment Enterprises is heading to Cannes with the blue-chip documentary <em>The Life of Earth from Space<\/em>, which charts the history of Earth, from its inception to the present.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a universal curiosity about how we came to exist as a planet and civilization, to see how the Earth and its people have formed and evolved,\u201d says Sunita Uchil, chief business officer of international ad sales, global syndication and production at Zee Entertainment Enterprises. \u201cWe worked with a premium production company, Talesmith, to produce the two-hour documentary utilizing the latest technologies, including 4K cinematography and HD cameras.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Global Content Hub by Zee, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited\u2019s (ZEEL) syndication division, is also presenting three new drama series and lifestyle programs.\u00a0<em>Tujhse Hai Raabta<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Cosmic Connection<\/em>) tells of a bittersweet relationship between a daughter and her stepmother when they are forced to live together after a tragedy strikes the family.\u00a0<em>Yeh Teri Gaaliyaan<\/em>\u00a0(<em>The Bylanes of Love<\/em>) is the story of two children abruptly separated at a young age who meet again years later but are forbidden to reunite. <em>Guddan \u2013 Tumse Na Ho Payega<\/em>\u00a0(<em>The Relationship Conundrum<\/em>) is a light-hearted tale of an awkward 20-year-old girl who finds herself becoming India\u2019s youngest mother-in-law to three older girls.<\/p>\n<p>The company also has new seasons available for its lifestyle shows <em>Altar\u2019d<\/em> and <em>Finding Fido<\/em>. <em>Altar\u2019d<\/em> is about couples trying to slim down before their wedding day. <em>Finding Fido<\/em> follows a canine expert helping people who are looking for the perfect dog to suit their lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>This year also marks the completion of 25 years in business for Zee TV.<\/p>\n<p>Uchil adds, \u201cGlobal Content Hub by Zee is very excited to attend MIPCOM this year to launch new special drama series, our English lifestyle programs as well as our recently completed documentary\u00a0<em>The Life of Earth from Space.\u00a0<\/em>This blue-chip documentary is a co-production with Smithsonian Networks and Talesmith U.K. I will be speaking more about our collaboration in my Monday afternoon panel, Asia: Building Up Global Ambitions.
