Japan’s Fuji TV has commissioned a local version of the legal drama Suits<\/em>, set to star Yuji Oda (Tokyo Love Story<\/em>, Last Christmas<\/em>, Homeroom on the Beachside<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Produced by Fuji TV in association with Kyodo Television, the 11×1-hour series will be set in Tokyo and will premiere in October in the channel\u2019s prime Getsuku drama slot on Mondays at 9 p.m. It will focus on Yukimura Uesugi, one of the four major law firms in Japan.<\/p>\n

Oda will lead the cast in the role of hotshot attorney Shogo Kai. Member of Japanese pop group Hey! Say! JUMP Yuto Nakajima (Hope<\/em>, My Son<\/em>, Engine<\/em>) will play the newly appointed associate Daisuke Suzuki.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
