Endemol Shine China is working with Croton Media, Kudos and Matador to create a local Mandarin-language adaptation of the drama series Humans<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Filming recently started on the Mandarin series in Shanghai, with the cast led by Ray Ma and Stephy Qi. The drama is set in the year 2035, when technology\u2014artificial intelligence in particular\u2014will infiltrate and influence every aspect of our daily existence. The Mandarin version will keep with the narrative of the original English-language series while continuing to explore the rapidly evolving relationship between humanity and technology, asking what it really means to be human.<\/p>\n
