And change presents the opportunity to innovate and unleash new creativity. 2018 will be the year that CASBAA reinvents itself.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Boswell said that the Asia Video Summit\u2014previously known as the CASBAA Convention\u2014aims to &#8220;become the defining conference on the state of the video industry in Asia: the opportunities and the challenges, the disruption and the consolidation, the success stories and the ability to embrace change. The industry has never gone through such a period of transformation as it is going through now, and that only looks set to accelerate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the return of the event to Hong Kong after two editions in Macau.
