TV4 Entertainment and Multi Channels Asia (MCA) have launched a strategic joint venture to localize and distribute the streaming operator\u2019s channels and original productions throughout Asia.<\/p>\n
Operating under the name Omni Channels Asia, the new venture will see MCA localize and distribute TV4\u2019s original productions and portfolio of channels across the region. Omni Channels Asia will be the exclusive distributor of TV4 Entertainment\u2019s growing portfolio of channels, which already includes more than 30 specialty brands. The venture will also acquire homegrown Asian content for its channels and secure local production partners for original content development. The content will be packaged and distributed to mobile, OTT and pay-TV carriers.<\/p>\n
The initial suite of channels will include Motorland, dedicated to cars and motorcycles; horror films and series from Screambox; end-of-days movies from Apocalypse; All Guitar Network, the first global channel dedicated to guitars; and the world\u2019s leading house and garden series on Inside Outside. The portfolio will also feature a series of sports networks covering boxing and other combat sports, e-sports, action sports and soccer, as well as a collection of culture-focused networks spanning food, cooking, drinking and more.<\/p>\n
