Cecilia \u201cMacie\u201d Imperial as officer-in-charge (OIC) for program acquisitions and international sales and distribution, in addition to her current role as program acquisitions head for pay TV.<\/p>\n<p>Imperial has been working at ABS-CBN for nearly two decades. She was first hired by the company in 2000 to acquire content for theatrical release under Sky Films. She became program acquisitions head in 2007 and has been leading contract negotiations and deals of acquired content for ABS-CBN&#8217;s cable and sports channels.<\/p>\n<p>Among the successful programs\u00a0Imperial has acquired for ABS-CBN are the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, <em>MasterChef<\/em>, FIFA World Cup, ONE Championship, U.S. Open Tennis and Ultimate Fighting Championship.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ABS-CBN Corporation has appointed Ma.
