DocuOne, a new documentary channel in South Korea, has begun carrying a BBC Earth branded block.<\/p>\n

Airing for six hours a day, BBC Earth reaches over 12 million households on DocuOne, which was recently launched by KMH. Programs in the block, which include Planet Earth<\/em> and Frozen Planet<\/em>, are subtitled in Korean.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving previously worked with KMH to deliver premium BBC dramas, we are very excited to partner with them to bring our award-winning and groundbreaking natural-history content to their viewers,” said Soojin Chung, the general manager of BBC Worldwide in Northeast Asia. “We are excited that BBC Earth is in the lineup to kick-start DocuOne, and are confident that the block will be a hit in Korea.”<\/p>\n

In the region, BBC Earth is available as a linear channel in Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. In India, Sony BBC Earth is a joint venture channel with BBC Worldwide and Sony Entertainment Television. There is also a BBC Earth block in Japan. In Singapore and Malaysia, the channel can be seen on BBCPlayer.com and via an app.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
