Clement Schwebig has been elevated to chief financial officer at Turner Asia Pacific, in addition to his current position as senior VP of business development, licensing and China.<\/p>\n
Schwebig was first hired by Turner Asia Pacific in 2013. Since then, he has helped to create new local and pan-regional channels, and develop local content opportunities to further Turner\u2019s presence in the market. He has also led the company’s\u00a0growth strategy across the region in the digital space, as well as its consumer products and location-based entertainment businesses.<\/p>\n
Shitiz Jain, who has been serving as senior VP of finance at Turner AsiaPac, is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity at the end of next month.<\/p>\n
Ricky Ow, the president of Turner Asia Pacific, commented: \u201cWe are delighted that Clement has agreed to take on the additional responsibilities of CFO. He is a seasoned media executive with substantial experience encompassing all aspects of business operations in TV broadcasting and production, including strategy, finance and sales.
