Bollywood director and producer Kabir Khan is making a drama series inspired by Subhas Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army during World War II for Amazon India.<\/p>\n

The Forgotten Army<\/em> is slated to begin production this month for the OTT service. Khan is known for films such as Ek Tha Tiger<\/em>, Bajrangi Bhaijaan<\/em> and Kabul Express.\u00a0<\/em>With his first drama series, he explores the\u00a0Indian National Army as the country fought for independence, under the leadership of Bose.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur aim is to build a compelling lineup of Indian shows, working with the greatest talents from the industry,” said Roy Price, the head of global content at Prime Video. “Our association with Kabir Khan is one of the many such partnerships that India will see.”<\/p>\n

Khan added, \u201cAmazon Prime Video provides greater access to reach new and vast Indian audiences. They are also bringing in global talent and knowledge to collaborate with Indian scriptwriters and content creators to further hone their skills and know-how.
