SINGAPORE: Shavkat Berdiev has been enlisted to oversee the Southeast Asian business at Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, with Louis Boswell becoming senior VP of distribution.<\/p>\n

As VP and general manager of Southeast Asia, Berdiev reports to Arthur Bastings, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific\u2019s president and managing director. His remit is accelerating growth of the company\u2019s Southeast Asian business. He joins the group from Millicom, where he was most recently deputy general manager and chief commercial officer in Tanzania.<\/p>\n
