SINGAPORE: Virginia Lim has been promoted to senior VP and head of content, production and marketing at Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia.<\/p>\n

In her new role, Lim will continue to oversee the entire network portfolio of Asian and English content channels, including AXN, ONE, Animax, Sony Channel and GEM. Lim is responsible for the overall content management of\u00a0the five channels. This includes programming, acquisitions and original productions, as well as brand marketing and on-air promotions. She is based in Singapore. Lim joined SPT Networks, Asia in 2008 and was promoted to the post of VP of content and marketing in 2015.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince taking over the consolidated content group in April 2015, Virginia has made an outstanding contribution to growing SPT Networks\u2019s business in Asia, ensuring our channels remain leaders in their respective genres and that we continue to deliver entertainment that is multiscreen, locally relevant and engaging for our viewers in Asia,\u201d said Hui Keng Ang, the senior VP and general manager for SPT Networks, Asia.<\/p>\n
