LONDON\/KUALA LUMPUR: TRX, an online deal-making tool\u00a0for the buying and selling of TV rights, has appointed Malaysia’s Vision Plus Entertainment as its agent in Asia.<\/p>\n

Vision Plus, the distribution division of Vision New Media, will represent TRX across the region, promoting the platform\u00a0and securing buyers and sellers. TRX kicked off its global rollout last month in eight countries across Asia and is now open for business in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, the Philippines and Vietnam. It will launch throughout the rest of the continent this summer.<\/p>\n

TRX CEO Matthew Frank commented: \u201cWe spent a long time finding the right partner to represent TRX in Asia and I\u2019m very excited to be announcing our partnership with Vision Plus. Their knowledge and connections in the region are second to none and already we are seeing large numbers of buyers signing up as a result of their efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Poh Lin Ho, Vision Plus’s chief executive, added: “We are delighted to be working with TRX in Asia. We think TRX will be a real asset for companies across the region. It\u2019s going to help buyers get easier access to a far greater variety of programs than ever before, with the added advantage that it\u2019s all in one place.
