{"id":3948,"date":"2016-06-28T07:51:35","date_gmt":"2016-06-28T11:51:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/keshet-international-hires-pair-for-asian-sales-team\/"},"modified":"2016-06-28T07:51:35","modified_gmt":"2016-06-28T11:51:35","slug":"keshet-international-strengthens-asian-sales-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/keshet-international-strengthens-asian-sales-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Keshet International Strengthens Asian Sales Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEL AVIV: As Keshet International looks to expand its business across Asia, the company has hired two new executives for its sales team in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry Lu and Kelvin Ko have been tapped as sales managers, reporting to Gary Pudney, Keshet International&#8217;s head of Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Lu was previously head of international projects at Beijing Century Media and worked on the Chinese edition of Keshet International&#8217;s interactive talent show <em>Rising Star<\/em>. Based in Beijing, Lu will work to identify commercial opportunities for acquisitions and co-development deals across the region, including China, Taiwan and Mongolia.<\/p>\n<p>Ko was previously TV sales manager at HIT Entertainment, part of the Mattel Group. Based in Hong Kong, he will be working to support and grow Keshet International&#8217;s business across Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>Pudney commented: \u201cWe are very pleased to welcome Cherry and Kelvin on board as we continue to grow our operations in Asia.
