SINGAPORE: Select content from Discovery Networks Asia Pacific will be made available through Viddsee, an Asian online platform specializing in short films.<\/p>\n
The pact kicks off with films from Discovery’s First Time Filmmakers (FTFM) initiative for up-and-coming documentary makers. This month, Viddsee will bring to its users Singapore Stories<\/em> and Super Japan<\/em>, followed later by Nanjing Calling<\/em>, Korea Next<\/em> and FTFM Vietnam<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are very excited to partner with Viddsee to reach a wider audience with this selection of films that has been specially curated for the Viddsee community,” said Charmaine Kwan, head of products for Southeast Asia at Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific. “It is a great platform for us to showcase the rich pool of local filmmaking talent that we work with, and we hope this will inspire the next generation of filmmakers in bringing their stories to life in the digital space.
