The show will debut in its fifth run on AXN in late 2016. Ten teams chosen from across the Asia-Pacific region will compete in a dash around the world for a chance at the winning crown and $100,000 in cash.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Lim, the VP and head of content and marketing for SPT Networks, Asia, said: \u201cHigh-quality original productions like <em>The Amazing Race Asia<\/em> are the cornerstone of our programming strategy.
