The eight-part show features\u00a0stand-up from some of the best comedians in the region. It is\u00a0co-produced with LOL Events in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe share Comedy Central Asia\u2019s vision to provide great entertainment and laughter to audiences via comedy and are thrilled to be able to reach new fans who may not be exposed to some of the amazing comedic talents we have in Asia,\u201d said Rizal Kamal, the CEO of LOL Events.<\/p>\n<p>There are also two new MTV programs,\u00a0<em>OK Danceoke<\/em> and <em>MTV Asia Spotlight<\/em>. The former is a music video show that teaches iconic dance steps, while the latter is a monthly series focused on\u00a0popular and up-and-coming acts from Asia. Both programs\u00a0are being produced in Singapore and will launch later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Paras Sharma, the senior VP of MTV, Comedy Central and Paramount Channel brands and digital media for Asia, added: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to offer new regional content on MTV and Comedy Central. <em>MTV Asia Spotlight<\/em> will allow us to continue to elevate more Asian artists on a regional platform and grow the awareness and appreciation of Asian music for fans around the region to enjoy.
