HONG KONG: Pay-TV and OTT service provider now TV has signed a deal with Netflix to deliver the streaming giant\u2019s content in Hong Kong via all-in-one IPTV\/OTT set-top boxes.<\/p>\n
The partnership, which also includes the \u201cnow one\u201d 4K appliance, is due to take effect in the second quarter of 2016. Customers of now TV with a Netflix membership will be able to watch Netflix original series such as Master of None<\/em>, Marvel\u2019s Daredevil<\/em>, Marvel\u2019s Jessica Jones<\/em> and Orange Is the New Black<\/em>, along with a wide variety of documentaries and feature films.<\/p>\n now TV is delivered in Hong Kong by PCCW Media Limited, the multimedia and entertainment subsidiary of PCCW Limited.<\/p>\n Loke Kheng Tham, PCCW’s executive VP of pay TV, said: \u201cThis partnership will enable now TV customers to enjoy high-quality content through the Netflix app, which is directly integrated into our set-top boxes and \u201cnow one,\u201d our new Ultra HD 4K all-in-one appliance, for the best big-screen experience.
