\n\tSINGAPORE: BBC Worldwide Asia and StarHub are bringing the BBC Earth factual channel to the platform in Singapore as of October 3.<\/p>\n
\n\tBBC Knowledge is being rebranded as BBC Earth, which will air in HD. BBC Earth will feature new global original commissions. The channel will also see the Asia premiere of the landmark series The Hunt<\/em>, less than 24 hours after the U.K. telecast.<\/p>\n \n\t“BBC Earth is a trusted global brand and we are delighted to offer its world-leading range of premium factual content to viewers in Singapore,” said Lee Soo Hui, the head of the media business unit at StarHub. “BBC Worldwide and StarHub are longtime partners and we are delighted to add BBC Earth to our stable of BBC channels which includes BBC World News, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle and CBeebies.”<\/p>\n \n\tMonty Ghai, the senior VP and general manager for Southeast Asia at BBC Worldwide, said: “The premiere of BBC Earth in Singapore is an important step in BBC Worldwide’s strategy to inspire audiences with intelligent, distinctive content.
