\n\tSINGAPORE: FOX International Channels (FIC) Asia has named Theresa Ong as senior VP of affiliate partnerships for Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

\n\tOng joins the company on October 12. She will report to Rohit D'Silva, the executive VP of commercial and sports for the Asia Pacific and the Middle East at FIC. Ong will be responsible for enhancing partnerships with FIC’s affiliates in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, across the company’s entire channel portfolio. She will also be tasked with developing new revenue streams in both the linear and nonlinear space. Ong joins FIC from Discovery Networks International, where she was senior VP and general manager for Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

\n\tD’Silva said, “With factual, entertainment and sports brands in our portfolio, FIC Asia has grown rapidly into a multi-faceted media and content business. Hong Kong and Southeast Asia is a key region for us and it is imperative that we have a top-notch senior executive driving and upping the level of collaboration we have with our partners.
