NBC Asia went for the pan-Asian cable and satellite rights for ten titles, including the romantic comedies <em>When Sparks Fly<\/em>, <em>My Boyfriends&rsquo; Dogs<\/em> and <em>Mothers of the Bride,<\/em> along with holiday-themed acquisitions such as<em> The Nine Lives of Christmas<\/em> and <em>Christmas Mix<\/em>. The deal also includes the thriller <em>Nanny Cam<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tMediaquest in the Philippines acquired more than 50 hours of content for its free-to-air channel TV5, including the disaster movie <em>10,000 Days<\/em> and the holiday movie <em>12 Dog Days Till Christmas<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&ldquo;MarVista delivers on its promise to provide quality entertainment that engages the viewing audience, and finalizing these new licensing deals with respected partners such as Fox, NBC and Mediaquest attests to that,&rdquo; said Vanessa Shapiro, the company&rsquo;s executive VP of global distribution. &ldquo;The fact that a number of our movies have premiered in the U.S. on channels that include Hallmark, Disney Channel and Lifetime, further elevates the value placed on our movie titles.&rdquo;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES: Indie outfit MarVista Entertainment has inked several film deals with media partners across Asia.
