This started with the brand-new Cinemax original series <em>The Knick<\/em>, starring Clive Owen and directed by Steven Soderbergh. &ldquo;We aim to narrow the window between our Asian and U.S. premieres even further to beat piracy, and work closely with our partners to continually add value for our subscribers,&rdquo; says Magdalene Ew, the head of marketing, creative and content at HBO Asia.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAnother development this year was the production of the new four-part original horror miniseries <em>Grace<\/em>, which debuted October 17.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HONG KONG: There have been several new initiatives this year from HBO Asia, including expanding the distribution of its online streaming service, HBO GO, in the Philippines.
