\n\tNEW YORK: A+E Networks has hired Glen Hansen as VP of content sales for the Asia Pacific, joining the company from Zodiak Rights.<\/p>\n
\n\tHansen had been serving as senior VP of sales and acquisitions for North America at Zodiak Rights in the U.K. Prior to this, he held senior sales posts at FOX LOOK, Target Entertainment Group, Granada International and Itel.<\/p>\n
\n\tAt A+E Networks, Hansen will oversee content sales for Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He will manage an Asia-based sales team, though he himself is based in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
\n\tAlan Hodges, the managing director for the Asia Pacific at A+E Networks, said: “Glen is a welcome addition to our stellar in-region content sales team. Glen’s extensive sales expertise and knowledge of the Asia-Pacific television market is crucial to leading the Asia team, and expanding A+E Networks’ syndication business throughout the region.”<\/p>\n
