It is hosted by the Malaysian celebrity Sherson Lian. The travel and cooking series features the journey of ten contestants as they travel across the Philippines competing for $50,000 worth of prizes. Overseeing the culinary challenges will be Sherson, as well as the program&rsquo;s resident judge, Chef Rolando Laudico.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\n\t\t&ldquo;We are excited to be working with the Philippine Department of Tourism to produce our first-ever reality series filmed in the Philippines. <em>Amazing Food Challenge: Fun in the Philippines<\/em> is a unique concept that combines the exhilarating world of food and travel with competition and reality. We look forward to future collaborations with DOT to produce more of such compelling, original content,&rdquo; said Derek Chang, the managing director of Asia Pacific operations for Scripps Networks Interactive. &ldquo;Our viewers in Asia will surely enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Philippines, its cultural heritage and culinary offerings through this program.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t&ldquo;As one of the leading food authorities in Asia, AFC is the perfect platform on which to showcase the diversity of the Filipino cuisine and culture,&rdquo; added Domingo Ramon C. Enerio III, the chief operating officer of Tourism Promotions Board Philippines. &ldquo;<em>Amazing Food Challenge: Fun in the Philippines<\/em> takes viewers to various provinces in the country and shares the heritage and traditions that have been passed down by those who live there.
