{"id":2967,"date":"2013-12-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-12-04T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/2013\/12\/04\/itvs-ge-scores-asia-digital-deals\/"},"modified":"2013-12-04T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-12-04T00:00:00","slug":"itvs-ge-scores-asia-digital-deals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/itvs-ge-scores-asia-digital-deals\/","title":{"rendered":"ITVS GE Scores Asia Digital Deals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tSINGAPORE: China&#039;s Sohu has licensed 100 hours of factual programming from ITV Studios Global Entertainment, among a slate of new deals for the company with Asian digital platforms.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tTitles in the Sohu deal include <em>I Shouldn&rsquo;t Be Alive<\/em> and <em>Built From Disaster.<\/em> In Singapore, MediaCorp&#039;s OTT platform Toggle opted for more than 200 hours of entertainment fare, including <em>Hell&rsquo;s Kitchen USA<\/em>, <em>Cook Me The Money<\/em> and <em>May The Best House Win<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tKT Mediahub, an IPTV service in Korea, acquired 150-plus hours of drama, entertainment and factual titles, among them <em>Agatha Christie&rsquo;s Marple<\/em>, <em>Case Histories<\/em> and <em>Murdoch Mysteries<\/em>. Another Korean platform, VOD service Home Choice, took classic films such as <em>All Quiet On The Western Front <\/em>and <em>Hamlet<\/em> for a total of 80 hours.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tHyeonza Hong, VP of sales for Asia, noted: &ldquo;These deals illustrate the demand from the growing number of new media operators in Asia for high-quality content.
