{"id":2817,"date":"2013-07-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/2013\/07\/18\/comedy-central-asia-expands-singaporean-reach\/"},"modified":"2013-07-18T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-07-18T00:00:00","slug":"comedy-central-asia-expands-singaporean-reach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvasia\/comedy-central-asia-expands-singaporean-reach\/","title":{"rendered":"Comedy Central Asia Expands Singaporean Reach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">SINGAPORE: Comedy Central Asia is now available on MediaCorp&#8217;s over-the-top platform Toggle, with Nick Jr. slated to roll out on the service in 2014.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">With the Toggle launch, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia says that Comedy Central Asia is the first English-language entertainment channel brand to  be offered across all three subscription TV platforms in Singapore.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"> In addition to sealing a deal to bring Nick Jr. to Toggle in early 2014, VIMN&nbsp;Asia has licensed more than 230 hours of MTV and Nickelodeon programming to Toggle Eve and Toggle Kids, respectively.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;We are delighted that Comedy Central Asia is launching on Toggle, which continues to win Singapore fans with its strong demand for comedy and its world-class content,&quot; said Indra Suharjono, VIMN Asia&rsquo;s executive vice president and managing director. &quot;The fact that it is the only English subscription entertainment channel to be acquired by every one of the three main nationwide pay-TV platforms is the clearest testament to Viacom&rsquo;s successes in bringing good laughs to Singapore.
