Among the other local shows set for the 2013 roster are <em>Recipe to Riches<\/em>, produced by FremantleMedia Australia; <em>Mr and Mrs Murder<\/em>, another FremantleMedia Australia production; <em>Batavia<\/em>, based on the best-selling book by Peter Fitzsimons; and <em>Wonderland<\/em>, from Jo Porter, a producer on <em>Packed to the Rafters<\/em> and a writer on <em>Winners &amp; Loser<\/em>s. Also among the local crop are <em>Secrets &amp; Lies: The Track<\/em>, a psychological thriller; <em>Reef Doctors<\/em>, a family adventure series; <em>Shock of the Now<\/em>, a live factual show that looks at the connected world; and <em>The Truth Is<\/em>, which features award-winning reporter Hamish Macdonald. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Network Ten has also lined up a number of imported series, including the new 12th season of <em>American Idol<\/em>, the CBS Television Studios&#8217; drama <em>Elementary<\/em> and the BBC&#8217;s<em> Ripper Street<\/em>. Also on the slate is <em>The Americans<\/em>, produced by 20th Century Fox for FX in the U.S.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The network signed a deal to become the exclusive free-to-air broadcaster of all Wallabies Test matches under the SANZAR (South African, New Zealand and Australian Rugby) agreement until the end of 2015. In the summer of 2013, Ten will broadcast the Hopman Cup, while the Wallabies settle into their new home next year with the broadcasts of the British and Irish Lions Tour and the Rugby Championship. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">James Warburton, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Network Ten&#8217;s CEO, <\/span><\/span>said: &ldquo;For 2013 we have developed a schedule that builds consistency for our viewers and advertisers and will build our audience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;It is a 40-week plan, consistently targeted with authentic Ten programs. Familiar, successful franchises will be in our schedule week in, week out, as well as a large number of new shows.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Beverley McGarvey, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Network Ten&#8217;s chief programming officer, added, <\/span><\/span>&ldquo;We want our viewers to be engaged and have a great experience when they come to Ten, Eleven and One. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;We want to inspire them and surprise them, but most of all we want to entertain Australians with authentic, accessible content.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;In 2013 we are proud to present viewers with our largest and most diverse drama slate.
