LOS ANGELES: CBS Studios International has entered a deal with Japan’s Avex Broadcasting & Communications to deliver programming such as NCIS<\/em> and 90210<\/em> to the d Market Video Store subscription on-demand video service for mobile devices.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The multi-year, non-exclusive agreement will see CBS content available on Avex’s SVOD service available to DOCOMO mobile subscribers for smartphones and tablets. The deal includes the current seasons of NCIS<\/em>, NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em> and 90210<\/em>, and full seasons of older shows such as Star Trek<\/em>, Star Trek: Enterprise<\/em>, Numb3rs<\/em>, Medium<\/em> and The 4400<\/em>.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The continued growth of mobile devices in Japan has opened new and exciting opportunities to monetize our content in a way that complements our existing licensing deals in the market,” said Armando Nuñez, the president of CBS Studios International. “We’re thrilled to partner with Avex to deliver CBS programming to the progressive Japanese audiences on these platforms.”
