LONDON: BBC Worldwide is bringing Top Gear Korea<\/em> to buyers at the Asia TV Forum (ATF), which kicks off on December 7, with Top Gear Korea<\/em> presenter Kim Jin-Pyo to make a guest appearance.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Presenting the series with Kim Jin-Pyo are actor Kim Kap-Soo and celebrity racer Yeon Jung-Hoon. In addition to Top Gear Korea<\/em>, BBC Worldwide will also highlight the history titles Frozen Planet<\/em>, Earthflight<\/em> and Great Barrier Reef<\/em> at ATF. Frozen Planet<\/em> is executive produced by Alistair Fothergill and narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Earthflight<\/em>, from John Downer Productions, features aerial images as seen by birds. The BBC’s Natural History Unit produced the Great Barrier Reef <\/em>series.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The science titles Planet Dinosaur<\/em> and Origins of Us<\/em> will be featured as well. Using unique hi-tech graphics, Planet Dinosaur<\/em> transports viewers back through hundreds of millions of years, while Origins of Us<\/em> tells the story of human evolution.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Drama titles include the Caribbean-based detective series Death in Paradise<\/em> and Torchwood: Miracle Day<\/em> starring John Barrowman and Bill Pullman. The music specials Britney Spears: Femme Fatale and Glastonbury 2011, featuring Beyonce, will also be on offer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Joyce Yeung, the general manager and senior VP for BBC Worldwide sales and distribution Asia, said: “We’ve had a hugely successful year launching formats in Asia, particularly in Korea where audiences have embraced Top Gear<\/em> and Dancing with the Stars<\/em>. Not only can we offer customers these brilliant shows from Korea, but also the format rights for local production and of course other international versions. With Top Gear<\/em> involved I absolutely know it’s going to be a great ATF.” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
