Nick Launches in Poland

LONDON, July 10: MTV Networks International (MTVNI) today
added to its suite of channels in Central and Eastern Europe with the launch of
Nickelodeon Poland on Vectra, UPC, Aster and Multimedia, among other platforms.

The TV rollout coincided with the launch of a
Polish-language website featuring an online community, games, downloads and a
broadband video platform for on-demand, full-length shows. Content will also be
available on mobile via the Orange network.

Bhavneet Singh, the managing director and executive VP of
emerging markets at MTVNI, commented: “Nickelodeon is the world’s premier
entertainment brand dedicated exclusively to kids and we’re delighted to launch
a local Polish channel that’s created just for Polish kids. We’re confident
that our 360-degree launch approach will allow us to provide a really
meaningful and engaging experience. Our Polish team has done a tremendous job
in creating what will no doubt become the standout go-to destination for Polish
kids of all ages both on and off-air.”

The channel will feature Nick hits like Dora The Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, Drake and Josh and Unfabulous, as well as the original local production, Dancing
Nick
.

Other MTVNI brands in Poland include MTV, VIVA, VH1 and
Comedy Central, which was the first local Comedy Central service to launch
outside of the U.S.
