New Thom Beers Show for A&E

NEW YORK: This summer, A&E Network is set to premiere a new real-life series from Thom Beers that follows a Texas family as they work to rescue residents and ranches from wild boars.

The eight-episode American Hoggers premieres on August 16 at 10 p.m. It focuses on former Texas Ranger and legendary hog hunter Jerry Campbell, his son, Robert, and daughter, Krystal, as they respond to those threatened by feral hogs, which cause $50 million per year in damage to the state of Texas.

Beers’ Original Productions, owned by FremantleMedia, has produced a number of hit series for A&E, including Ice Road Truckers and Storage Wars.
