Jessie Abbott Joins A+E Studios as VP of Creative Affairs

Jessie Abbott has joined A+E Studios as the VP of creative affairs.

Abbott joins A+E Studios after a decade at Kapital Entertainment, where she served as VP of current and development and oversaw series such as Black Cake (Hulu), Shining Vale (STARZ), Women of the Movement (ABC) and more.

“Jessie’s track record of championing distinctive voices and delivering compelling, high-quality programming speaks for itself,” said Tana Jamieson, co-head and executive VP of creative affairs at A+E Studios. “Her ability to nurture projects from inception to premiere, coupled with her deep industry relationships, will be an invaluable asset to our growing slate. We are thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

A+E Studios’ slate of programming consists of scripted series, event series and movies, including The Lincoln Lawyer, UnReal and Roots. The studio currently has over 70 projects in active development across streaming, cable, broadcast and international platforms.
