Jennifer Lopez On Board Digital Teen Series

NEW YORK: Jennifer Lopez, her company Nuyorican Productions and Believe Entertainment Group have aligned for the new digital video series Tiger Beat Entertainment, geared toward teens and young adults.

The entertainment news and lifestyle show will be distributed through and in partnership with AOL and the teen and young adult platform Cambio. It will be produced at Cambio’s Hollywood studio. The series is a partnership with Tiger Beat, a popular teen magazine. Tiger Beat Entertainment will include celebrity, entertainment, music, TV, film, books, gaming and apps news as well as social media and Twitter trends and targeted lifestyle topics such as fashion & beauty, food, health & wellness, décor, relationships and more. Jennifer Lopez, Simon Fields and Believe Entertainment Group will co-executive produce the series.

“Teens and young adults are influencing the entertainment market more than ever and understand how to use social networks and new media to voice their opinions, talk about news that is important to them, and influence their large circles of friends,” said William H. Masterson III and Dan Goodman, co-founders of Believe Entertainment Group. “We’re handing over the reigns with this show to let them do what they do best, and Jennifer is providing the first-hand experience and creative direction.”

"We’re excited to join forces with the Tiger Beat brand to provide our audience with a unique online experience," added Simon Fields. "Jennifer has long been a trendsetter in all areas of lifestyle and entertainment, and this will afford her the opportunity to bring her expertise to social networks and the new media space in a big way."

“This program is the perfect alignment of the ever growing AOL & Cambio audience base, our commitment to high quality and professionally produced content, and our expanding studio resources,” said Erin Clift, the senior VP of branded experiences at AOL. “We’re excited to be able to bring this kind of innovative opportunity and level of talent to our users and advertising partners.”
