FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) has expanded its scripted division with the appointment of Reid Shane as executive VP of production, Jennifer Sherwood as senior VP of scripted development and Oliver Jones as director of scripted development.

Shane will oversee all aspects of scripted production for the company, including sourcing, hiring and managing all key production personnel. He joins FMNA from Media Rights Capital, where he served as the senior VP of television production, overseeing series such as Ozark and Counterpart. Shane will report to FMNA’s executive VP of scripted business operations and production, Susan Gross.

Sherwood will be responsible for sourcing, developing and pitching original scripted TV programming. She will also source international programming to be acquired and translated into the North American marketplace. Most recently, Sherwood was a partner/producer with Silk Road Productions.

Jones joins the team from The Weinstein Company, where he served as manager of development. During his tenure there, he worked on series such as Guantanamo, The Romanoffs, Waco, Six and Yellowstone and focused on their U.K. slate, including Les Miserables, The City & the City and Fearless.

“I couldn’t be more pleased to be expanding our team with these three industry veterans,” said Dante Di Loreto, the president of scripted entertainment for FremantleMedia North America. “At FMNA we have a clear and defined vision. Building on the success of American Gods and our global series The Young Pope, Hard Sun, as well as the upcoming Picnic at Hanging Rock and My Brilliant Friend, we strive to align ourselves with the very best creative talent. Reid, Jennifer and Oliver are trusted collaborators and the perfect additions to this award-winning team.”
