Fireworks Sells Guys Choice Awards

CANNES: Fireworks International has presold the 2010 Guys Choice Awards to a number of broadcasters, including Movie Network in Australia.

The awards are originally aired and produced by Spike TV. The third annual Guys Choice Awards, which takes place on June 20, has been picked up in more than 90 territories, with broadcasters such as MTV OY in Finland, TV2 in Denmark, Animax Latin America and AXN Asia/Animax Asia for pan-Asia. The event honors all-things male and the awards are voted for by guys for guys.

Bob Kennedy, the executive VP of nonfiction programming at Fireworks International, commented, “Spike TV is well known for content that attracts the elusive young male audience and Guys Choice is a fantastic example. Guys Choice Awards is an explosive blend of humor, celebrity, glamour, action and controversy, which has made headlines around the world.
