ESPN Player Secures NHL Streaming Rights in Europe, Africa

ESPN Player has acquired the rights to stream three live NHL games a week in 61 countries across Europe and Africa.

Starting this week, the games will be available live and on-demand during the league’s regular season as well as every game from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The agreement includes subscribers in Belgium, Italy, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Nigeria, South Africa, Hungary and Romania and covers all of sub-Saharan Africa. A seven-day free trial is available for new subscribers.

Subscribers will also have access to ESPN Player’s coverage of NCAA college football and basketball, as well as a range of ESPN films and documentaries.
