Cineflix Kids’ Title Commissioned by CBBC

CANNES: Remote Control Star, from Cineflix Productions, has been commissioned for a 10×30-minute run on CBBC. 

The format watches as competitors are presented a mission by presenters JK and Joel to take control of a celebrity for a day. The celebs will be filmed by hidden cameras, as they are given challenges through hidden earpieces. Celebrities lined up for the series include stars from the worlds of soaps, reality shows and Saturday night entertainment.

 

Cineflix Productions’ creative director, Rob Carey, said: “We are thrilled to be producing another exciting new show for CBBC. We can’t wait to see what happens when a group of 10- to 14-year-old CBBC viewers take control of some of the biggest names in entertainment—it’s going to be lots of fun. We are also looking forward to rolling out the format globally.”
